Nithyananda has 25 years of diverse experience in Taxation advisory, Audit and Compliance services, and brings this valuable expertise in guiding various pan-national, multinational companies and other business entities. Well versed in direct and indirect tax laws in India as well as representations before Appellate authorities including Appellate Tribunals, he has built a road map to monitor changes in tax policies and enforcement.

Keeping in mind the changing tax regulatory and business environment in India, Nithyananda provides special focus and timely action for foreign enterprises, when setting up business in India, to enable them to avoid the pitfalls of incorrect interpretation of tax legislation. In using due diligence and full compliance for the real-time benefit of ASA’s clients while they begin or extend their business plans in India, Nithyananda adds value even while helping clients to achieve their primary goals.

A member of the taxation committee of the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nithyananda completed his education in Chartered Accountancy and has conducted classes at the Ernakulum Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

He speaks four Indian languages, besides English and has deep philanthropic interests. These have included presiding over and participating in various social and charitable programs of the Lions Club and being President of the advisory committee of the Nandanam Balasadanam, a Charitable Trust running a home for destitute children.
